Welcome to Sunday Swag! I absolutely love swag. I think it's the perfect thing to collect. You can have a whole bunch and it doesn't take up a lot of room. One day it occurred to me that a lot of people might have the same feelings about swag as I do. That's when the idea of a Sunday Swag feature came to me. I could both show off my love of swag and give some away! Plus, it's a great way of spreading the word about all the fabulous authors out there!
This week I'm spreading the word about the Cabal of Hotness authors! They write the Fondled and Gobbled books and you just gotta love the way they describe themselves. Cajun Hotness - Danica Avet Danica Avet was born and raised in the wilds of South Louisiana (that would be somewhere around Houma) where mosquitoes are big enough to carry off small children and there are only two seasons: hot and hotter. With a BA in History, she figured there were enough fry cooks in the world and decided to try her hand at writing. Geeky Hotness - Lea Barrymire
Lea spends her time writing, reading and working. She is both a stay at home mom and a "work from home" professional. Her knight in shining armor is not only her husband but also her best friend. Her heathen children are the entertainment that keeps her going. The stories that tumble from her fingers are definitely a combination of her fascination with science and the emotional aspect of romantic encounters.
Lea lives in Western New York with her hubby, three children, and miscellaneous critters. Before the rugrats, she lived a life of adventure, following her husband all over Europe with the US military. She’s slept in a car outside Paris, drove six hours just to see tulips in the Netherlands, and knocked ash from her shoes at Pompeii. Now she spends her time in life’s adventures at soccer games, PTA meetings and school plays.
Lea has loved reading from a very young age, spending many sleepless nights devouring books. Science fiction and paranormal were her favorite genres to read as a teenager, and that love bled into her adult life. She started writing during a bout of insomnia, to fill time, and found it filled a creative void. Cara Carnes discovered her love of writing early in life, as most writers tend to. At the age of 11, she typed up a love story and happily mailed it off to Harlequin. I’m a Midwestern gal born and raised, and I currently live in Chicago. I’ve not yet found the villain who is using his time machine against me, but when I do, the battle will be epic.
I’ve been writing stories in my head for as long as I can remember, but only recently started putting words on the page. My current projects are firmly in the romance genre, with loads of sex and angst, but I know I can’t avoid those YA and Mystery plot bunnies forever.

Piper discovered early on that she hated to be stereotyped, and since then she’s been rebelling against everything nice, smart girls are supposed to do. She was the high-school harlot and the valedictorian; she worked in a strip club while attending a top college on an honors scholarship; she was a roller-derby queen and a mom; and finally, she’s a lawyer by day and a professional author of sizzling erotic romance by night.
