LADIES THERE IS A NEW BAD BOY IN TOWN AND HIS NAME IS NASH!
When it comes to passion this hot, it’s all or nothing.
Olivia Townsend’s wealthy cousin Marissa had everything a girl could ask for—a great job, a privileged life, and all the friends she wanted. Or, at least, all the friends money could buy. But one case of mistaken identity has turned her privileged world upside down.
An abduction gone wrong lands her right in the lap of the sexiest, most dangerous man she’s ever met. To Marissa, he’s an enigma, but one to whom she’s irresistibly, inexplicably drawn.
With him comes a new world of freedom and passion, of dark shadows and dangerous secrets, a world where nothing is what it seems—except for the blind passion that Marissa can’t escape—or maybe even survive.
I am lucky to have Marissa, heroine of M. Leighton’s newest Bad Boys book, Everything for Us, stop by today for an interview and oh my, she is even more beautiful in person! And I see that her boyfriend, Nash, has come along for the ride. Lord above I hope that I don’t trip over my tongue with him in the room!! Please help me give a warm Riverina Romantics welcome to Marissa, who is half of the hottest couple in contemporary romance right now!
Delilah : Welcome Marissa! Thank you for prying yourself out of Nash’s arms for a few minutes to come and chat with us! I give you a lot of credit. I am not sure I could have done that!! Can I offer either one of you a cold drink, a beer perhaps? *blushes as Nash gives me one of the sexiest smiles I have ever seen*
Marissa: *blushes* I think I’ll have wine. I save beer for…special occasions.
Delilah: You have lived through a very traumatic kidnapping. What was going through your mind during that time and what gave you the strength to get through it?
Marissa: It’s strange to think back on those hours. It was a blur of fear and regret and hopelessness. The one thing I can say, without a doubt, is that it changed my life. Almost like a necessary evil, sometimes traumatic events function like a big reset button. And this one did. I was missing out on a lot in life. Important things. So, in a bizarre way, I’m thankful for that night. But I’m also thankful that it didn’t end differently…badly, which it very well could have. *shivers*
Delilah: Let’s face it in the previous books Down to You and Up to Me you were, to put it mildly, not a very nice person. After the kidnapping you came out the other side a different person. How hard has it been to make people understand that you really have changed and why is that so important to you?
Marissa: It’s insane to think you can tell people you’ve changed and expect them to believe you. I’ve seen that over the last little while. But I think when you’ve REALLY changed, it will show. And people will see it. Over time. It’s important to me to prove myself to the people I’ve wronged, to show them that I’m a different person, deep down. I don’t know why it matters. Maybe that’s just part of it, part of the way I’ve healed.
Delilah: Plainly speaking you have come a long way baby! With everything you have gone through what have you been most surprised to find out about yourself?
Marissa: That I have a sense of humor! *laughs* I have never thought of myself as a teasing, lighthearted person, but Nash has helped me to uncover a totally different side of myself, one I never even knew was there. It’s been a lot of fun.
Delilah: In Everything for Us you pair up with Nash and get your lawyer on in a big way! And one of my favorite make-me-sweat interactions between the two of you happens in the library. Did you and Nash ever had the chance to go back and get down and dirty between those stacks at the county law library?
Marissa: *bashful grin* Let’s just say that Nash has shown me a whole new way to love research. He’s very thorough. Goes very…deep.
Delilah: So I have to ask. How does it feel knowing that everyone woman in the world right now is hopelessly in love with your boyfriend?
Marissa: *laughs* It’s a little disconcerting, I’ll admit. But I’m also very proud to have won the love of a man like Nash. It wasn’t an easy road for us, but I think that just makes it much more special.
Delilah: You know I’m going to have to ask this question. Nash darlin’ hold your ears. *motions for Nash to put his hands over his ears and of course he just laughs at that* Marissa for all of us hot blooded women out there I’m begging you to tell us what caresses that fine arse of my new book boyfriend! Are we talking boxers, briefs, boxer briefs or commando? *oh make my dreams come true and please say commando, please say commando!*
Marissa: *winks* On the odd occasion that he has to wear anything, it’s boxer briefs. And let me tell you, he makes them look good! But for the most part, he’s a commando kind of guy. He likes easy access. And he uses it…frequently.
Delilah: If you could pick one song that would best represent either your journey or your current relationship with Nash what would it be?
Marissa: Probably “Beneath Your Beautiful” by Labrinth and Emile Sande (Labrinth – Beneath Your Beautiful) Labrinth – Beneath Your Beautiful.
Delilah: I can see that Nash is getting restless so oblige me with one more question for all of us hopeless romantics out there. While you are alone with Nash at night, lying in his arms and staring into his eyes, what thoughts are running through your mind?
Marissa: That I’m the luckiest girl in the entire world. Somehow, when I deserved happiness less than anyone I knew, I managed to catch the eye of the most handsome, protective, genuine, sexiest, most passionate men on the planet. There are times when I can’t imagine that he could possibly love me as much as I love him. But then I’ll see a flash in his eyes and I’ll think maybe…just maybe he does. And that’s when it hits me. There is nothing more I need in life except Nash. Nothing.
Delilah: Thank you for Marissa for stopping by today for some good old fashioned girl talk! I wish you and Nash all the best!
Marissa: Thank you so much for having me!!!! <3
