A Belarus manufacturer of heavy earthmoving and mining equipment has just announced the world's largest truck. It's the BelAZ 75710, a monster that can carry no less than 495 US tons (450 metric tonnes) of earth and rock around open-cast mines. It uses 4,600hp electric motors to move the load. OK . . . that's a big truck! I wonder how many standard pickups like my Ford F-150 it could stack in its load bed?
